Privacy.

What SPOT stores.

• A device id. A random tag saved in your browser so Ace can remember what you two talked about and your picks can be shown back to you. There is no login behind it. Clearing your site data forgets you.
• Your picks. When you tell us what you decided on a game — followed Ace, went your own way, or passed — we keep it with the time and the call Ace made at that moment, so your own record can be graded from the final score.
• Chat messages and screenshots. What you say to Ace, and any picture you attach, is kept with your device id. Anything you tell him about the world — an injury, a rumor — is logged as a tip for a person to check. It never changes a stand on its own.
• Your email, if you sign up. Only if you give it to us for an account or for notifications. It is used to sign you in and to send you what you asked for. Nothing else.

What SPOT does not do.

Nothing here is sold. Not your email, not your picks, not your messages. Not to anyone, not ever.

SPOT does not run ad trackers and does not build a profile of you for anyone else. Chat messages are sent to the model that answers as Ace so he can answer; that is the whole use.

Where it lives.

On servers the operator runs, with nightly backups. Backups exist so the record survives a bad disk; they are not a second copy for anything else.

Forgetting you.

Clear your site data and your device id is gone, and with it the link between you and your picks and messages. If you signed up with an email and want it removed, ask the operator and it is removed.

The one thing that is never deleted is the public record of Ace's stands. That is not about you. It is on About the record.

Changes.

If this page changes, the date at the bottom changes with it.
